Complete All-American List

EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Tarleton's Jared McNeil placed 34th overall at the 2009 NCAA Division II Cross Country National Championships in Evansville, Ind., on Saturday, on his way to being named a USTFCCA All-American.

"Jared ran a great race today," Tarleton head cross country coach Pat Ponder said.  "He looked good out there and ran very aggressive.  It was a very nice ending to a great season."

McNeil finished the 10-kilometer course with a time of 32.27.2, finishing 34th overall out of 187 runners to become Tarleton's first-ever Cross Country All-American.  He is now a two-time All-American after capturing the same honor this past spring in track and field.

Adams State swept both the men's and women's national titles on Saturday.  For the men, it was a second straight championship, while the women's team won their seventh straight national title.

Missouri Southern's men's and women's team swept the South Central Regional titles a few weeks ago in Abilene.  On Saturday, the women's team finished third overall and the men's team finished 11th.
