STEPHENVILLE – The 2010 Texan football season is just around the corner, and if you haven't purchased your reserve season tickets, you should do so quickly.

This year, the Texans will host five games, including the season opener on Thursday, Sept. 2 at 7 p.m. against Northeastern State. 

Tarleton is coming off one of its best seasons ever at the NCAA Division II level after reaching the second round of the playoffs, and new head coach Cary Fowler will soon be getting the team ready to go deeper into the playoffs and defend its Lone Star Conference and LSC South Division titles.

Season tickets are $50 for reserved seating while a general admission Family Pass for four people is $125. Each additional person is $25 apiece.

“We hope everyone will consider coming out and supporting our football team,” said athletics director Lonn Reisman. “We want to create a Division I atmosphere here at Tarleton while watching high-quality football. Head Coach Cary Fowler and his staff have done a tremendous job of putting together a very competitive team, and we expect big things out of this team in 2010.”
