INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Tarleton Texan men's basketball team moved up to No. 3 in the latest South Central Region poll released Wednesday.

The Texans are 19-4 overall through Sunday and are behind No. 1 Missouri Southern (21-3) and Central Oklahoma (22-3). 

West Texas A&M (20-5), Fort Hays State (20-6), Midwestern State (17-7), Washburn (16-8), Texas A&M-Commerce (16-8), Incarnate Word (15-10) and Nebraska-Omaha (16-8) round out this week's poll.

The top eight teams in the final poll that will be released Sunday, March 6 during the Division II Selection Show will make the regional tournament set for March 12-15 at a site yet to be determined.
