INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Tarleton women's tennis team was ranked No. 19 in the most recent NCAA Division II national poll and currently sits at No. 3 in the South Central regional rankings.

The Texans are 5-3 so far this spring and coming off a couple of cruical 5-4 victories over Dallas Baptist and Incarnate Word.

At No. 19 in the nation, Tarleton joins Abilene Christian (No. 6), Cameron (No. 18), Central Oklahoma (No. 21), and Northeastern St. (No. 23) in the top 25.

Abilene Christian is No. 1 in the regional rankings with Cameron at No. 2 just ahead of Tarleton.

The TexAnns face St. Edward's Thursday, March 10 in Austin.
