STEPHENVILLE - In the latest regional poll, Tarleton (24-4, 15-3) held its ground at the No. 2 spot.

The Texans finished the regular season as LSC regular season co-champions along with regional No. 1 and the nation's No. 6 team, Midwestern State.

Tarleton is currently at the Event Center in Allen playing the first round of the Lone Star Conference Championship tournament against Texas A&M-Kingsville. A win would set up a semi-finals showdown against West Texas A&M Friday night.
