STEPHENVILLE - Tarleton (20-8, 17-3) dropped one spot in the latest South Central Regional poll released by the NCAA Wednesday afternoon.

The TexAnns, who had spent the last two weeks in the No. 4 position, traded places with MIAA-power Emporia State despite both going 1-1 in last week's games.

Tarleton remains the top LSC team in the poll with West Texas A&M moving up one spot to eighth and Midwestern dropping from No. 7 to No. 10.

Tarleton is currently in the LSC Championship Tournament in Allen and will await the final rankings Sunday at 9 p.m. A selection show will be held for the men and women at Wisdom Gym in Stephenville.
