STEPHENVILLE - Due to facility issues, the Tarleton track & field meet scheduled for April 14 at McMurry has been cancelled so the Texans and TexAnns will head north to compete at the Texas Tech Relays in Lubbock.

The Tarleton track & field team has competed in three meets this season, including their only home meet March 6 to kick off the season.

Tarleton will send seven athletes to the University of Texas at Austin this weekend for the Texas Relays - a qualifying meet. The seven athletes are Lindsey Hinton (5000m run), Jenna Duncan (400 hurdles), Page Klein (100m dash), Shelby Terry (100 hurdles), Nikki McNorton (high jump), Jamal Mays (100m dash), and Jeff Smith (400 hurdles).

Following the Texas Relays, the entire team will reassemble for the David Noble Relays at Angelo State. Then will compete at Texas Tech on April 14.
