Lindsey Hinton and
Nikki McNorton were named All-Lone Star Conference Thursday afternoon.
Hinton ran three long-distance events at last weekend's LSC Championships, setting a school record en route to a first and two second place finishes.
The junior from Denton claimed a victory in the 5000m run with a time of 17:44.32 while finishing second in the 1500m run with a Tarleton record 4:38.28. She also finished second in the 10K with a time of 38:27.95 after a long weather delay.
Hinton scored 26 of the TexAnns' total points for the fourth place team finish, making her the fourth highest total point scorer and the seventh highest total point scorer among all conference athletes at the championships.
McNorton ran the 100m dash and competed in the high jump at the conference championships.
The junior from Channelview qualified for the finals in the 100m with a season-best time of 12.20 and an eighth place finish. She ran a 12.34 in the finals to claim seventh place.
In the LSC women's high jump championship, McNorton earned top honors with a, then, season-best leap of 5' 9'' (1.74m). Since then, she has automatically qualified for the NCAA national championships with a leap of 5' 10.75'' (1.80m) at the Abilene Christian last chance meet.
To earn all-conference status, athletes must score at least 14 points or win an event in the LSC Championships.
