STEPHENVILLE - Bryan Conger is hosting tryouts for the Tarleton Texan baseball team and looking for student-athletes interested in being a part of a team that has compiled the most regular season wins in the conference over the past two seasons.

The tryouts will be held June 11 at 9 a.m. at Tarleton's Cecil Ballow Baseball Complex.

All interested participants must pre-arrange tryout information by emailing assistant coach Cale Thompson at cale.thompson@go.tarleton.edu to secure a spot and must bring a copy of current physical examinations from the last six months. The physical is mandatory.

The tryouts are open to all junior college players and 2012 high school graduates, who must be finished with their current season. The deadline for registration is June 10.

Tarleton is coming off of a 30-21 season in which they advanced to the Lone Star Conference Tournament Championship.
