STEPHENVILLE - The Tarleton track and field team had 29 student-athletes boast, at least, a 3.0 grade point average for the spring semester while both the men's and women's teams combined for at least a 3.0 gpa.
"I am very proud of each of these student athletes," said Tarleton head coach Pat Ponder. "They exemplify what it truly means to be a student-athlete at Tarleton State University. They are truly the best of the best when it comes to balancing academics and athletics."
Highlighting the semester by posting perfect 4.0 grade point averages were Elizabeth Dominguez, Karen Ramming, Kyndall Trnka, Jacob Milles and Marquis Thompson.
