When the 2025-26 season begins, Bleey Martinez will start his fifth season at Tarleton State as an athletic trainer working with the football program.
Martinez arrived in Stephenville after spending eight years at Texas State, where he oversaw the men’s basketball, golf and dance teams. He also has experience with a summer internship at South Florida and Newberry College, where he working with nationally-ranked NCAA Division II wrestling and football programs.
He earned his undergraduate degree from South Florida in 2011 and his master’s degree from Texas State in 2014. He and his wife, Kristin, reside in Stephenville with their children, Lillian, Micah and Camille.
