When the 2025-26 season begins, Will Rodecap will begin his first full season at Tarleton State as Director of Football Equipment. He joined the Texans in February, 2025.

Rodecap is tasked with coordinating the football equipment operations as needed on a daily basis. He joined the Texans after stops at Kansas State (2011-25), Kansas (2008-11), Colorado State (1998-2005), and Tulsa (1995-98). Across the last 30 years he has held titles such as Head Athletic Equipment Manager and Assistant Equipment Manager, supporting the daily process of ordering for all departments and programs, plus assisting with travel and gear. He has attended 19 bowl games as a staff member or volunteer, including the 1997 Cotton Bowl, 1997 Fiesta Bowl, 2012 Cotton Bowl, 2013 Fiesta Bowl, and 2022 Sugar Bowl.

Rodecap is a Harveyville, Kansas, native. He earned his master’s degree in adult education and human resources at Colorado State after a bachelor’s degree in economics / agriculture economics at Kansas State. He also played on the offensive line for Highland Community College, his last season in 1988.

Rodecap is married to Jennifer, and the couple has three children (Jeff, Emily, Audrey) and two grandchildren (Guerin, Annalise).
