Shelby Adamson had double-digit efforts in seven of the nine contests she played in during January, earning her athlete of the month honors. The Rockwall native averaged 13.3 points over the month that included a career-high 24 point outing against Angelo State on Jan. 16. Adamson shot .529 percent from the field making 37 baskets out of 70 shot attempts and went 45-for-52 (.865) from the charity stripe. She collected 18 steals and dished out 39 assists as well.
